FlickFire is Shutting Down
Hey FlickFire users,
While it has been fun working on FlickFire, it is regrettable that now is the time that we must shut down. Unfortunately FlickFire didn’t take off like we hoped it would, and we ran into more problems than we thought we would during the duration of the project. Spammers, hackers, and other malicious people tried to derail the site, and we just didn’t have enough man power to handle it. Furthermore we’ve now completely run out of funds to continue working on this project.
I’m now working at a new start-up company called PhotoWhoa. It’s a daily deals site for photographers. You guys should check it out if you’re interested in getting discounts on camera gear, training, and software.
Again, I’m sorry that we couldn’t be the right site for you guys.
